Freelancing Jobs for newbies..?
57Newbie in freelancing
My quest to start freelance hasn't been going well since I last wrote about in my other hub. I have been trying to get a job and working as freelance. However, nothing has been done significantly although, I have collected very useful information about freelancing on many sites I have visited. I was busy looking for job, but most of us already know there was not much jobs to find or I am overqualified/under qualified for jobs I have been looking or applied.(I am sure a lot of us this happened) I haven't given up on that though. Freelancing was not easy as I first though. I have joined Guru.com to start my freelancing career.
One of most popular freelance site is Gugu and most people I have talked suggested join in here.
Guru.com (USA, started August 2000) :There is over 160 professional categories including: website design, programming, graphic design, business consulting, and administrative support. Good for beginners start with free.
When you get couple protects done and you could use that money to upgrade to paid service so you can bid more and better jobs. As a free member you can only bid 10 projects, so have to choose wisely.
Unfortunately, as newbie at freelancing I haven't gotten projects and I was not really trying hard. All my energy was going to find job at real world. But now I am back and start doing more of trying to earn money online. This site http://freelanceswitch.com/start/9-tips-for-new-freelancers/ give out good advice for newbie like me :) I will post how it is going next time.
