Resident Evil Movie Trilogy

If you are gamer and loved Resident Evil game series, you might not like Resident Evil Movie Trilogy because this movie only borrow the concept from the game, it does not follow the game's time line or story line. I loved this movie despite many other experts criticism. This movie has it all, action, adventure, little bit of romance and interaction between the soldiers sent by Umbrella.

One thing puzzle me was why they didn't know they were dealing with zombies when they first saw zombie. It was sealed and it was highly regulated security facility which were conducting experiments(may be plot purpose). Overall I recommend to watch this movie.

Resident Evil (2002) - Deadly virus has spread underground facility at Racoon city operated by Umbrella corporation and all the scientists to turn into zombie. Super computer "Red Queen" use drastic measure to seal the entire facility in effort stop the spreading of virus. Alice(Milla Jovoich) was caught in this and she soon comes in contact with Matt a "police officer" and a group of commandos sent in by umbrella.

She was in temporary amnesiac due to nerve gas but constant flash back provides her guide to moving inside facility as well as fighting the zombies. This first installment introduce Alice and other character "Matt" who will appear in second installment "Apocalypse".

Alice and the gangs fight through out the movie to escape sealed facility and the only way out is by underground train. Alice regain memories through flashback and gain many useful information that was used on their fight to survive. With help from the computer, of course Alice had to do little arm twisting, they encounter so many threat finally reached the ground floor, at this time all the soldiers were dead and only Alice and Matt were left, only to met with science team from Umbrella corporation to whisked away for experiment.

Sequel to Resident Evil, this movie has suspense as well as some high tech equipment and weaspons.

Alice wakes up unfamiliar place in hospital setting. Flash back occured and her reaction was so violent to the horror of realization that she was experimented and she is still in Raccon city. She walkes out of hospital to find the city deserted and under quarantine. She found herself with few elite soldiers led by Valentine (Sienna Guillory, Love, Actually) and Carlos (Oded Fehr, The Mummy Returns), enlisted to rescue the missing daughter of Dr. Ashford, the creator of the mutating T-virus.

Fight against multitude of blood- thirsty zombies, stealthy Lickers, mutant canines and the most sinister foe:Nemesis. It is in fact, Matt who was bitten and whisked away in previous movie. In order to save other's life, Alice must fight him. During this fight, she came to conclusion that she can't kill him despite the threat to be killed and this brought the real Matt in force. Nemesis(Matt) helped the gang escape through Hellicopter sacrificing himself.

The city gets nucked in order to bury the evidence of experiment and the regarding the information about T-virs, however, the choper didn't go far enough to avoid the shock of expolosion, it was crashed. The secen which Alice puts herself in front of Dr. Ashford's daughter to save her life, touch the heart. Apocalypse has very good soundtrak by Killswitch Engaged "End of Heartache"

3rd in the trilogy of Resident evil movie, set in the dead earth due to spread of the virus. Survivors are gather under Clair Redfield's convoy. They roamed this dead planet to find and rescue surviors. I will call this movie as "Survival of species" because they were all there left as far as they knows. Alice(Milla Jovovich) returns this series as well and join the convoy to help them get to Alaska where rumors has suggested that the virus hasn't reached yet. They kept on move because staying in one place long invites deadly flesh eating crows.

Meantime on the underground, the Umbrella still exist plotting to find cure for which they have brought on this world, or more like for themselves. Unknown to Alice, her blood is the cure of all and can bring back the life back in earth. While traveling to Alaska, the convoy encounter massive army of zombie which were place in there for lure and capture Alice. Sadly, almost all died in this part of movie and only few left and gone to Alaska due to heroic effort of Alice and Carlos Olivera(Played by Oded Fehr). Alice found her clone and learned that her blood is cure for all this, she promised the Umbrella she will be visiting them soon. Expected the gran ending in next movie: Resident Evil: Afterlife
